Call For A meeting December 6, 2015
Greetings all,
Thanks to all of you who were able to attend our 2014 Christmas, new year celebration, and other meetings. For those of you who were unable to join us in the previous meetings and activities we look forward to seeing you at the next get together and meeting which will likely occur in the coming weeks. Thank you to all CEELA members who showed us very kind response and reception when we stopped at your store and generously paid their dues and more to the causes that unite us in protecting our business.
This communication is intended to update you on what is going on around our business and some of the legislative issues that will impact us. As you all know in the past two years our business appeared relatively safe owing to our unreserved participation in the legislative process of our industry through our lobbyist and also by active participation of many of us in numerous fundraising events and airing out our concern.
This coming year we already knew that the big chain stores are fiercely pushing to have a ballot initiatives. That means “wake up and smell the coffee’ and we must have to indulge ourselves more than before. There is no tomorrow on our business and we should protect by every means possible. Our meeting on December 6, 2015, 5:00 pm at Addis Ababa restaurant is going to be our brain storming session for the looming challenges that we are expecting to face in the year 2016. Bring your fresh ideas to the table.

I hope all are doing well. Thank you for your encouraging remarks, prompt payment and reception when we met in your store and in our meeting in the past. The prompt response and our active engagement rendered a result that, at least, will keep us for a while protected, since we were overcome the attempted ballot measures. Now it is our celebration time! Let us celebrate with a style and discuss some other issues in our annual Christmas get together. I have tentatively scheduled to have our Christmas get together on December 15, 2016 Thursday night at Meskerem Restaurant 6:00 pm. I said tentatively until I get confirmation from many of you that you will be in this meeting. I think, in this meeting we will be thanking all people that have been helping us in our fight last year such us Keep Colorado Independent group, our Safety partners, Mr Scott Chase, Mr. Tom Lofland, Attorney Chris, Mr. Sam Damion, etc. Our united group will make us strong and send a message to our supporter. Let us try to attend this celebratory get together, have fun and retool for next year. Please respond to this email by saying 1. Yes I will be attending or No I can’t make it so that we have a clear picture and get prepared accordingly.
